Why I Wanted to Lose Weight
I needed surgery and the doctor told me to lose the weight. And I did not like the way I look.
My Exercise and Diet Journey
I take whole grain cereals with 1% milk. Or oatmeal for break-fast For Lunch chicken, turkey or fish with little bit of rice and veggies. For dinner the same. Two fruits for snack.
I exercise 5 or 6 days a week. I do house walking for 30 minutes, little bit or yoga, and tummy exercises 2 or 3 days a week. I also do weight training 3 times a week.
I have noticed that it is essential to exercise to keep the weight off I have kept it that way for 15 years. I weight now 126 pounds.
Lessons learned
- The only way is exercise and eat regular portions, but eat some nutty stuff also; you cannot deprive yourself!
