Today's Walk - Rest Day

Exercise:Upper Body

Cross-Training: Swimming
Swimming is excellent exercise. With a variety of strokes you can tone many different muscle groups. Swimming and doing water aerobics are also good ways to rehabilitate from injuries.

Smart Coffee Drinking
Your daily trip to the coffee bar can be a nutrient stop as well. Order coffee drinks with non-fat milk to give yourself a calcium and protein boost. I recommend limiting your caffeine intake if you are dieting or about to go on a walk. But a decaf skinny latte is a good choice for a mid-morning snack.

Goal Review
At the end of the fifth week, review the goals you set in week one. Have you achieved any milestones? Do you want to revise your goals or timeline? What has helped you stay with it so far?

Recipe of the day:
Iced Honey Coffee
Make it with skim milk for a healthy, refreshing drink.
