These pedometers have fun designs aimed at the youth market. The GeoPalz pedometers come in fun shapes and have simple operation - steps only. The shapes include sports, rock, fantasy, edgy, cutesy and Skelanimals. Each pedometer has the actual pedometer that clicks into a plastic shell, which has the decorative shape on one side and the belt clip on the other. While the pedometer doesn't upload its data, they come with access codes to join the GeoPalz web site and track their steps online and participate in contests.

he Oregon Scientific 3D can be carried in a pocket or worn on a lanyard around your neck. It has a 7-day memory for steps, distance, and calories burned. It even has a clock with daily alarm and a count up timer.
5. Yamax Digiwalker CW-701 Pedometer
The CW-701 is the update to the highly-accurate and much-trusted SW-701. Beyond step counting, it displays distance, calories burned, clock and activity time. It's mechanism has been beefed up to be even more accurate. One problem of earlier models was the plastic belt clip, which is now made of metal. It has a 7-day daily memory for steps, distance, calories, and activity time.
