Guide Review - Omron HJ-151 Pedometer

This pedometer has great features for walkers and runners who want to track dedicated walking or running workouts as well as tracking their total daily steps. The aerobic steps function tracks your steps and aerobic time when you walk or run more than 60 steps per minute or continue for 10 minutes or more. The regular step counter counts all steps. Other functions include calories, distance, and a 7-day memory. Having the 7-day memory is essential for those who want to track their steps but may not be able to log each day.

I like the silent functioning of this pedometer - no rattle or clicking when you wear it. It doesn't come with a leash or an easy way to attach one, but I found it stayed securely on my waistband.

The display is easy to read for my aging eyes. It powers down after 5 minutes (to save batter life) and you touch to the top button to get a reading. It also displays the time of day.

You aren't in danger of resetting your steps accidentally. The reset button is recessed at the back of the pedometer and requires a paperclip and determination to reset it.

There is so much to like about this pedometer that it instantly became one of my favorites to wear. Quiet, accurate, easy to use, and cute rounded shape.
