The Bottom Line
FuelBelt offers versatile set-ups for its hydration belts. This design is good for walks of an hour or so. It has two small 7 oz. water bottles held securely in elastic holders. The neoprene pouch is designed to hold your MP3 player or cell phone, with a port for your headphone cord. The pouch size worked well for wallet and keys or cellphone as well. I found it difficult to replace the water bottles one-handed, but loved the stable no-bounce set-up.
Pros
- Bounce-free comfortable pack
- Two 7 oz. contoured bottles
- Neoprene pouch for MP3 player, cell phone or other essentials.
Cons
- Hard to replace water bottle one-handed
Description

Guide Review - Fuel Belt MP3 Hydration Eliminator
The FuelBelt system is contoured to ride snugly in the small of your back without getting in the way of your jacket, arm motion, etc. The small water bottles won't get in the way of vigorous arm motion.
Water Bottles
The small 7 oz. water bottles are just enough for a walk of an hour or less. They fit securely into elastic holders and ride with no bounce. But I found it difficult to put them back in the holder, it was a two-handed operation. They are contoured so they take up less space and fit snugly against your waist.No-Bounce Belt
The belt is comfortable and easily adjustable. The belt in back of the trail pouch is vented and breathable mesh.Pouch
The neoprene pouch is designed to keep your MP3 player or cell phone dry. It has a port through the FuelBelt logo to pass your headphone cord. I found it exactly the right size to carry a wallet and keys instead of electronics. It has reflective piping and logos for night safety.I like the low profile design of the FuelBelt, and would use it for walks of 30-60 minutes when I didn't need to carry much along with me other than the water and a few essentials. For fast walking, this is a good design due to its stability and low profile.
