Guide Review - Balance Walking Poles
The poles have a rubber foot for use on pavement, which can be removed for use on trails or soft surfaces to reveal the tungsten tip.
The pole height is adjustable with a twist. Walkers may want to experiment with different lengths or adjust them for uphill or downhill.
Nordic walking poles always have a strap or half glove to allow a light grip and a release on the back stroke. The Balance Walking strap is a comfortable half glove that adjusts with velcro. It has a trigger release so you can easily click and leave your poles behind when you stop to take photos, etc.
The poles are made of lightweight aluminum. The poles come with a storage bag.
Through 2011, a special edition pink pole set is available to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure breast cancer charity.
