So you want a dessert but all you have is breakfast food in the cupboard? Grab the box of raisin bran or cornflakes and the peanut butter and look what you can make!

Makes 4 servings
Each serving (2 bon bons): approximately 110 calories.

Prep Time: 0 hour, 10 minutes
Cook Time: 0 hour, 0 minute
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 ounce cornflakes or raisin bran (crumbled) - a little less than 1/3 cup.
  • 2 tablespoons chopped raisins (more or less if using raising bran)
  • 3 tablespoons chunky peanut butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
Preparation:
Set aside 1 1/2 teaspoons of the cereal crumbs. 1. Combine raisins with the rest of the crumbs.

2. Add the peanut butter and combine thoroughly using a fork.

3. Take a heaping teaspoon at a time and roll in the palms of your hand to form a 1 inch ball - you should get 8 balls.

4. Roll each ball in the reserved cereal crumbs to coat them on all sides.

5. Arrange them on a plate, cover with plastic wrap and chill them in the refrigerator.

6. Just before serving, roll each ball in sugar and serve each in their own little paper liner.

Modifications:
Add coconut to the cornflakes that you roll the balls in. However, this does add fat.
