Photo Gallery - 2003 New York City Avon Walk for Breast Cancer |
Our bicycle support crew had a Halloween theme - I am used to them being dressed as butterflies or fairies, but here they were bats.
We now walked the full length of Manhattan on the west side. We walked next to the Hudson River on the Hudson River Park bike/pedestrian path. It was a wonderful walking path that allowed the walkers to spread out and go their own paces.
It was a beautiful morning, the rain and winds from Hurricane Isabel never struck NYC hard, although it was humid.
