Day Two - Avon 3-Day Walk
Of Trains and Breakfast

Most people had a fitful night's sleep due to the nearby train tracks and regular trains throughout the night.  Plus, as one person said, "When the first person in camp gets up - everybody gets up."  Earplugs, sleep mask, and being a natural early riser can help here.breakfast

Breakfast
5 am - 8 am:  The menu was scrambled eggs, au gratin potatoes, kielbasa, oatmeal, Danish, fruit and yogurt and cereals, plus hot coffee, tea, cocoa, juices.

Breaking Camp
Now comes the real struggle - rolling up your sleeping bag and mat into some replica of the way it was packed yesterday.  Get your luggage together and make sure you have what you want in your waistpack.  Then get it all ready for the Crew at the gear truck to take to tonight's Camp.  And, while doing all of this, showing some kindness for those who HAVE managed to sleep past 4 am and don't appreciate your talking, laughter, swearing, etc.  Show some kindness and keep your lips zipped in the Camp area.
