Several changes have been made for the Breast Cancer 3-Day Walks in 2002.

Moving On in 2003
The Avon Crusade announced that it will not be the named sponsor of the Breast Cancer 3-Day Walks in 2003.
Pallotta TeamWorks sought a new beneficiary for the 3-Day Walks but failing to find one in August, 2002 furloughed all employees, leaving little hope of 3-Day Walks being held in 2003.
Avon announced a new program, the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer, which will be held in eight cities in 2003.  These will be in a two-day walk format.  Walkers may walk either a marathon or half-marathon the first day, then a half-marathon the second day, camping one night on the route.
