IVV World Cup Walking Program

About the Program:
Earn an award for walking IVV-sanctioned walks on three continents and enjoying two IVV Olympiads. This program began in 2000. IVV (International Volkssport Federation) walking events are held in dozens of countries worldwide, with a minimum distance of 10 kilometers per event.
IVV World Cup Program
Dates and Locations:
Links to IVV National Organizations and their websites are found at IVV.org in English and German. Organizations have calendars of events on their sites or may be reached by email or phone. The IVV Olympiad is held every two years in a different location. The IVV World Cup program has no end date. The IVV sanctions thousands of events worldwide each year.

Registration:
Award: WORLD CUP patch, cap with WORLD CUP emblem, certificate. Registration information is available on the IVV web site.
About IVV Walks:
IVV walking events are a minimum 10 kilometers in distance in most countries. Register at the start point and walk at your own pace, enjoying a nice walk. These non-competitive walks are held to promote fitness and friendship.
Going on an IVV Walk
The IVV also has an IVV Achievement Award Program that rewards you for walking IVV-sanctioned events anywhere, with awards at milestones such as 10 event, 30 events, 50 events, 500 kilometers, etc.
