Boston Freedom Trail Walk

See historic sites on this special walk including the State Capitol, monuments, museums, and landmarks. Includes Boston Common, Paul Revere’s home, King’s Chapel, the Old State House, Faneuil Hall, Old North Church, Bunker Hill Monument, the Granary Burying Ground, and the USS Constitution. It is an 11-kilometer (7 mile) easy walk with one short steep hill. Register at the Boston National Historical Park Visitor Center, 15 State Street. Two other walks are available at the same starting point. Sanction YR0730.

Concord, MA

This 6 mile walk route takes you past quaint shops, through the Minute Man National Historical Park, over the Old North Bridge, and past famous authors’ graves in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. The route also passes the Alcotts’ Orchard House, the Wayside - part of the Underground Railway, the Concord Museum, and Ephraim Bull’s Grapevine Cottage. It is rated easy and is open April 1 - Dec. 13. Register at Brooks Pharmacy, 71 Lowell Rd. Sanction YR0223.
