I couldn't waste a dry three-day weekend for walking. But we had freezing fog, which made shaded areas slippery. I waited till later in the morning each day to walk, and was rewarded with beautiful sights of hoar frost on the trees, shrubs and grass.

Route choice is important when you are walking in the cold. I have tips on how to choose a cold weather walking route. I avoided my usual route on the greenway because it doesn't get enough sun to burn off the slick frost.
I played with various combinations of winter walking hats as my ears get very cold. I really love having a Buff to use as either a neck warmer or a balaclava when things get really cold.

Love all the hoar frost photos you posted, especially the spider web. Very cool (pun intended).
Not sure the location of your walk today, it was 0° at my location so I decided to do a long walk inside my LARGE work location at lunch time.
Love your posts AND love to walk.
