Physical Activity Prevents Stroke

A large scale study of stroke has found that the more leisure physical activity you get, the less your risk of stroke. And, if you are one of those who walks or bikes to work, you have less chance of ischemic stroke. The researchers followed 47,721 Finnish subjects 25 to 64 years of age without a history of coronary heart disease, stroke, or cancer over the course of 19 years.
