Burlington Vermont

It's considered" not cool" to not stop for people crossing the road! The people of Vermont are so easy going and kind. They ALWAYS let you cross safely! Walking is Green and Green is the Vermont way!

Boston wins hands down

I've walked miles in this city! What isn't walkable is easy to access by public transpotation

New Hope, PA

What a great place to walk -- full of shops and history. You can walk around the whole day and not realize how far you've gone. It's a small town but you'll find yourself walking around it many times!

Columbia, MO

What about having Columbia, Missouri as one of your BEST WALKING CITIES as we have the KATIE TRAIL WALKING TRAIL AND STEPHEN LAKE PARK also to walk on. Pat Novak

Great in NJ

Moorestown, NJ and Haddonfield, NJ are great residential towns with shopping districts and hundreds of lovely tree lined streets.

Greensboro and Huntington

I would suggest you look at Greensboro, NC and Huntington, WV....The walking trails are wonderful.
