Walking the Seattle RNR Marathon
- My wife and I walked the full marathon and had a great time. The bald eagle on the first half of the course was so spectacular we almost thought it was fake ! The back half of the marathon was filled with challenging hills. We have walked 3 different RnR marathons and have marvelled at the level of organization, and attention to detail. Too bad they don't recognize walkers as a different category.

Music at Seattle Rock 'n' Roll
- The music was terrible. Cheap cheap bands and that music did not help while running. A more upbeat modern music would be nicer and keep those bands at the bars.

Rock n Roll Marathon San Antonio, TX
- I just did my first marathon and my wife did the 1/2 at the Rock n Roll in San Antonio. I loved it and completed in 4:45. The bands were a good distraction and they also helped bring out the crowds to add support. You can read all about my first marathon experience at http://runningsoles.com/blogs/soleman I would definately do another RnR run

PF Chang's Rock/ Roll Half Marathon AZ
- This was my first time doing this half marathon. The course was nice, flat, well marked and with plenty of signs. The bands along the way were nice, but walking a quick pace does not really give you time to appreciate the music! The wave start was well done and it really helped to keep the beginning of the race from being a mosh pit of people.
