Why I Wanted to Lose Weight
I was classed as obese even without actually looking more than a bit chubby. After checking my BMI I noticed it was 30.5. Most of my friends said it's impossible for me to be obese as I don't look obese. ( I am 6.5 ft)
I've lost weight using arithmetics - how?
I got a free app which reminds me to log my breakfast lunch dinner snacks etc and it easily finds foods with their calories content.
Each day I can see how many calories I've used. Taking in consideration that 7000 is equivalent to about 1kg (2.5 pounds) of your body weight, Eat 1000 kcal less and you WILL lose 2.5 pounds per week

My Exercise and Diet Journey
Step 1
See how many calories u need per day depending on gender, activity level and BMI
Step 2
Install a free or paid app which counts calories for u
Step 3
Set it up for reminders and put as a goal 1000 kcal less if u want to lose weight or 1000 kcal more if you want to gain weight
Step 4
Adjust your diet first by eliminating or adding high calories foods and drinks
Eg. Sugar / sweetener. Bread, go for diet or no sugar drinks. Par example pepsi or coca cola regular has about 15 to 23 grams of sugar per 100 ml, equivalent to up to 460 g per a 2 liters bottle - that's a pound of sugar!!!
Don't stop eating your favourites but adjust the size etc etc
Step 5
When you feel comfortable start jogging as much as you consider ok
Step 6
After a couple of months get a new wardrobe as you will need it
P.s. When you start jogging preferably with a monitor ( here we go again with the app store or app Market ) and see how much work it takes to burn off some calories you WILL think twice about that cookie or deep fried stuff!!
Taking in consideration that in order to lose or gain 2.5 p u need to burn or eat 7000 kcal on top of your daily use. Eat 1000 kcal less and you WILL lose 2.5 pounds per week

Lessons learned
- There is no excuse!
- nobody from the concentration camps suffered with the gland!
- if you need 2500 kcal per day and you put in 3500 kcal YOU will get fatter about 1 kilogram per week if you eat less than what you need but not too few calories as your body will enter hibernation mode you will loose weight
- YOU DO NOT SUFFER WITH THE GLAND- NOBODY GETS FAT WITH THIN AIR!
