My Review 

I have purchased thousands of pairs of the SWIX VIP Nordic Walking Poles - made in Lillehammer, Norway (NOT China) and I ship them out of our World Headquarters in Glen Arbor, Michigan every day to happy customers all over the world.

Just yesterday, Nov. 3rd, I was up on top of the Sleeping Bear Dunes doing my Ski Walking (Nordic Walking). Two days ago I it was sunny and warmer - I did a couple hours of Ski Walking barefoot up on top of the dunes at Devils' Hole. My poles of course worked great. They also work great here in town with the rubber tips/asphalt paws on - the rubber tips/paws are ideal for pavement and other hard surfaces. Pull of the rubber tip and the exposed metal tips is awesome on trails, the beach, the sand dunes, grass, snow and ice.
