Walkers participating in the IML Walking Association reward program do a 20 kilometer walk on each day of the Gilboa Walk. They take a bus from the registration/finish area to the starting point. There are no restrooms or water at the starting point each day. The routes are on mountain roads which are wide enough for a vehicle, but rocky and rutted. Hiking boots or trail shoes are needed, and trekking poles are useful for balance.
