Artistic and landscape design is evident all along the Land Bridge. The path curves gracefully. It is lined with native plants and interpretive signs. The iron railings are in the shape of natural branches. The planter railings are wide enough and at the right height to invite walkers to sit and enjoy the view. The surface is of crushed granite in some areas and concrete blocks in other areas. A pergola filters the sunlight. Along this south walkway, artwork depicts the historic uses of the area in the past three hundred years.
