Top Walk: Walk from the John G. Shedd Aquarium to Navy Pier in Chicago.

The lakefront is beautiful all year round, and our skyline can't be beat!!

Walk Information
This is an easy walk to just "do it youself," I walked this course myself on a couple of trips to Chicago while going from my hotel to great destination museums such as the Field Museum and the Art Institute.

The Illinois Volkssport Association offers two year-round walking routes in downtown Chicago. Register and pick up a map at the Chicago Cultural Center Visitor's Center, 77 E. Randolph. Open Monday - Friday 10a - 6p, Saturday 10a - 5p, Sunday 11a - 5p, closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. Walking route YR1596 is 10 kilometers rated easy, takes you near the lakeshore, Michigan Avenue with its shops and skyscrapers, Rush Street and tony condos. Walking route YR783 is a city walk.
