Aetrex
Copper Sole socks use CUPRON copper fibers to reduce 99.9% of most bacteria and fungus, which should reduce foot and shoe odor. The socks are made of wicking polyester fabric with light padding in the heel. They are anatomically shaped, with spandex keeping the sock in place but not constricting. The seamless toe also reduces potential rubbing points. Aextrex Copper Sole Athletic Socks come in low cut, ankle high, and crew lengths.
Athletic Socks with Copper
Aetrex Copper Sole Athletic Socks are very well-made athletic socks. They are made of sweat-wicking polyester fiber. The addition of copper threads kills most bacteria and fungus, which are what cause foot odor and shoe odor. I don't have a shoe odor problem, so I couldn't directly test that feature. But as a microbiology technologist, I can tell you that their theory should be correct. That stinky shoe odor smells just like Staph, which should be inhibited by the copper in the sock.
I found the fit to be perfect for my picky feet. I have a bunion, and often the spandex in the arch of anatomically fit socks will rub against the bunion. I had no pain or problems with the Aetrex socks. The socks fit well and the spandex should keep them in place without bunching, which helps prevent blister formation. After two hot water washings, they didn't shrink significantly and still had a good fit.
Light padding in the heel and toe provides cushioning. I really liked the feel of these socks. I received a pair at no charge to test and review, but would happily buy these to use as my main walking sock for summer.
