Clif Mojo Bars are a sweet and salty energy snack in trail mix flavors. They stick together well without being crumbly, although they are slightly sticky. They are 70% organic with an easy-to-understand ingredient list. They have no trans-fats and include 9-10 grams of protein in each bar for a low-glycemic bar.

Taste, Chewability and Packability

These bars are very tasty, with crunchy nuts or pretzels included. That makes them a satisfying snack. Flavors include honey roasted peanut, mountain mix, mixed nuts, peanut butter pretzel and chocolate dipped peanut butter and jelly.

The bar's chewing consistency is good. They are crunchy and pleasant to eat, but do require chewing, so they aren't made for eating when you are breathing hard.

How do these pack for active walkers, runners and bikers? They are slightly sticky (as is the wrapper), and the coating on the dipped one is bound to be a bit melted on a hot day in your pack. But they weren't crumbly.

Energy and Ingredients

The bar has 200 calories, with 9-10 grams of protein, 1.5-2 grams of fat, 2 grams of fiber and 17-21 grams of carbohydrates.

Clif Mojo granola bars are 70% organic, and you can understand everything on its short ingredient list.

Bottom Line: These are tasty bars that are a packaged alternative to trail mix. If you find yourself eating more trail mix than necessary, then having it in a bar will keep you from overindulging.
