Far East Broccoli

Broccoli is packed with vitamins and nutrition. Serve cold as an hors d'oeuvre or hot as a side dish.

Prep Time: 0 hour, 5 minutes
Cook Time: 0 hour, 30 minutes
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets or 1 10-ounce package of frozen broccoli spears.
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
Preparation:
1. Steam the broccoli until tender-crisp and drained.

2. If you want to use this as a cold dish, chill it.

3. Combine the vinegar, oil, soy sauce, and mustard.

4. Add the broccoli and toss it with the mixture to coat it.

5. Let the coated broccoli sit for a half hour or more to blend the flavors.

6. Toast sesame seeds lightly in a non-stick pan and garnish broccoli with them.
