1. Brooks Beast
2. Brooks Ariel
4. adidas adiStar Control
This shoe is flexible enough for walking while still providing moderate motion control. It has good support for moderate and high arches. The upper doesn't have seams that can irritate bunions. I loved the fit, with a wide enough toe box. But I had to go up a full size from my regular walking shoes, so try them on before buying.
6. Fila Flow Sanctuary
The Fila Flow Sanctuary is built for people with neutral gait who need stability. While the heel looks big for walkers, the shoe is engineered to help you roll through a step without the arch collapsing. The heel and midfoot fits snugly so your foot is less likely to travel forward in the shoe. I found this shoe to be easy on my bunion with a smooth upper over the bunion area. I found myself naturally adopting a proper posture and feel like I want to walk fast in these shoes.
8. New Balance 904
This is a lightweight performance training shoe that is also a stability shoe with motion control. It is extremely lightweight and flexible. It comes in narrow, normal and wide widths. It has a low heel profile and excellent flexibility, making it a good shoe for walkers. But it lacks cushioning, so is best used for shorter walks of up to 10 kilometers.
