Guide Review - Fila Flow Sanctuary Stability Shoe
The Fila Sanctuary touts its "cushioned guidance" as it is engineered to keep the foot straight and supported throughout the transition from heel to toe. The first time I wore them I could feel some shin complaints as they really were enforcing a better stride. But at the same time, I felt like I wanted to walk faster in this shoe, due to the excellent mechanics enforcing good stride.
The lacing system is excellent, with a lace-through piece on the tongue to ensure that the tongue stays in place. The laces are long enough for me to do some fancy lacing for even better heel retention.
For the fashion conscious, I get lots of remarks on the bright red and white "bowling shoe" styling, all of it positive. I guess I'll be wearing red and white for awhile.
