Guide Review - Amphipod RunLite Trail Runner Pack
The Amphipod RunLite system for hydration and gel belts is completely modular. You can add more fluid flasks or gel modules or pouches.SnapFlasks
The SnapFlasks click in and out of holders with ease. This is a design I hadn't tried before and I liked it, versus struggling to get your water bottle into or out of its holster. You can wear them either vertical or horizontal and adjust where they are located on the belt. They have wide mouths for easier filling. Why have a belt with two smaller water bottles rather than just 1 standard sized one? Weight balance is one reason. But you may also wish to carry water in one and sport drink in the other.Breathable No-Bounce Belt
The belt is comfortable and easily adjustable. The belt in back of the trail pouch is vented and breathable mesh. I was very pleased with the stability and lack of bounce.Pouch
I have a full wardrobe of water carrier fanny packs, and I found the Amphipod RunLite Trail Runner pouch to be exactly the right size to hold the essentials I want for a 30-90 minute walk. The main zippered pouch is 40 cu.in. and held my wallet and cell phone with space to spare. The smaller outer zippered pocket has a key fob and they suggest carrying snacks in it.After testing the Amphipod RunLite Trail Runner, I'd call it a keeper.
