The Leki Supreme Fitness Walking Poles are a good choice for both walking on sidewalks and for tackling the trail. Adjustable length allows you to share them with friends and to store them easier. Guide Review - Leki Supreme Fitness Walking Poles

I generally use walking poles for rocky trails, but they are also a great fitness tool for those who want to burn more calories per mile and to relieve stress on the hips, knees, and ankles. The Leki Supreme Fitness Walking Poles go from sidewalk to trail with ease. They have a carbide flextip for trail use, covered with a rubber fitness tip for use on pavement. You can easily pop off the fitness tip as you go from street to trail, and put it back on afterwards. The pole height adjusted easily, with a twist. I adjusted them a couple of times during my walk with ease, as you might do when going uphill or downhill. Markings on the poles help you get them back to your chosen length if you collapse them for storage or share them with a friend. They collapse down to 42 inches (105 cm). The strap is a comfortable half glove with a trigger release so you can easily click and leave your poles behind when you stop to take photos, etc. The grip is comfortable CORE-TEC, although with the strap you barely touch the grip. The expedition-grade aluminum poles are lightweight and swing with ease. The poles come with a storage hanger to keep them together. The accompanying booklet tells clearly how to adjust and use the poles, with a stretching routine and walking workouts.
