Guide Review - QuikWik Power Play Skirt
This is a fun trend -- sport skirts. I have a walking friend who loves the sport skirt idea. If you want to get more coverage and camouflage for your buns and thighs, or just to feel more feminine when out walking, a sport skirt is one solution.
The Power Play skirt combines a pair of bike shorts underneath a skirt that is slit at the sides. The bike shorts help prevent thigh chafing as well as maintaining decency for activities such as biking, etc. No worries about being lumped in with Britney Spears. The QuikWik fabric wicks away moisture -- essential to staying comfortable when walking or doing other exercise in warm weather. The shorts have an inner, downward facing pocket on each leg. That's useful for tennis balls, but I don't know what else could be carried in that configuration. Otherwise, there are no pockets.
Now it comes down to the skirt itself. I thought it looked flattering for covering my lumps and bulges. But for walking, I found it annoying to have the fabric flapping against my thighs. This is definitely something for personal preference. For many women, the flattering part will overcome any dislike of wearing the skirt. The skirt length 17 inches and the short inseam is 5.5 inches. Sizes 0X-6X.
