Pete Edwards has been coaching runners and skiers of all ages and fitness levels for over 25 years. Edwards is a former ski school director, certified ski instructor, licensed ski coach, track coach and cross country running coach.

Pete Edwards developed the American Nordic Walking System as a teaching system for Nordic Walking. The American Nordic Walking System provides instruction for all ages and fitness levels including people with balance issues. His web site, Skiwalking.com, features Nordic Walking poles and instructional videos.

Edwards has coached state champions (individuals and teams), all-Americans and national champions. He has also introduced Nordic Walking to thousands of Americans through clinics and interviews on radio, newspaper and TV.

He has skied in 50K marathons and run 26.2 mile marathons, taking first place in two running marathons. His skiers have been hill bounding and ski walking with poles for years in the summer when deprived of snow. Hosting Nordic Walking clinics is extremely enjoyable for Edwards, and he especially likes hosting Nordic Walking clinics for MS and Parkinson’s support groups.

Skiwalking.com: features Nordic Walking poles and instructional videos.
