Walking Programs: IVV International

Walk local, think global! Walk at any IVV-sanctioned event around the world and count it towards the IVV Achievement Award Program. Receive a certificate, patch, and hatpin as you reach milestones such as 10 events, 30 events, 50 events, 500 kilometers, etc. This lifelong achievement award series has tens of thousands of participants worldwide.

Earn an award for walking IVV-sanctioned walks on three continents and enjoying two IVV Olympiads. This program began in 2000. IVV (International Volkssport Federation) walking events are held in dozens of countries worldwide, with a minimum distance of 10 kilometers per event.

Walk Europe! The IVV Europa Cup walking program rewards walkers for walking IVV-sanctioned walks in 14 different European nations. The IVV (International Volkssport Association) sanctions thousands of 10K and longer walking events throughout Europe each year.

Walk Britain! Earn a certificate and right to buy an award patch by completing 100 walks on 100 different self-guided trails sanctioned by the British Walking Federation, a member of IVV. These walks are available year-round throughout Britain, and number over 100.

Österreichischer Volkssportverband, the IVV walking organization of Austria, offers awards for completing series of walks in Austria.

Earn a pin award for walking 1 walk hosted by each of the 12 volkssport walking club in Ontario, Canada and walking each of the 11 self-guided Year-Round or Seasonal Director's Walks. The program began in 2003 and has no time limit.
