While browsing through a running store, my eye was drawn to a rack of Zoot running wear. The styles and colors were fun, and I was impressed with the technical designs. With Zoot, you can dress to impress and conquer on your summer walks, runs or triathlons.
1. Zoot RUNfit Tee

This was the first Zoot item to catch my eye. Unfortunately, the update for 2009 eliminated the cute crisscross lacing and v-neck I liked. The fabric is very lightweight polyester to wick away sweat. The raglan cap sleeves are designed to minimize friction during arm motion, when walking or running, and keep the sun off your shoulders. This shirt has everything I look for in a technical walking shirt, plus a touch of style. Sizes S through XL.
2. Zoot RUNfit All Sport Shorts

I really like the look and design of these shorts. They have a beefier waistband than most sports shorts, with contrasting lacing. The back zip pocket is very useful for small essentials, and you won't risk hooking your thumbs on side pockets when you are using good arm motion while walking. It has a liner, so you can choose to wear additional undies or not.
3. Zoot RUNfit Skirt

Zoot adds a little color and style to the running skirt, with contrasting trim on the waistband. I like the outer-mesh skirt -- the lighter the weight, the better for me. This skirt has nylon inner-compression shorts, with a 2-inch inseam. For storage, you only get an internal key pocket. Available in sizes S to XL.
4. Zoot TRIfit Racerback

I usually wear sleeves to keep the sun off my shoulders when walking, but I was taken with the TRIfit Racerback tank. Maybe it's the two-side stash pockets that I thought would be perfect for my cell phone, iPod and keys. It has an inner shelf bra. If you are looking for an excellent technical tank, this is one worth trying. Comes in sizes XS to XXL.
