If you walk or run with an iPod or MP3 player - and that seems to be most of us these days - you are probably looking for the easiest way to carry it securely. Wear your iPod in a specially designed pocket of your shirt, shorts, pants or jacket and you don't have to worry about it flying away when the clip comes off your waistband.

© Wendy BumgardnerThis unisex design is made from high tech fabric to wick aways sweat. The iPod pocket is specially designed to not tug on the neckband. The newest designs have three pockets to choose from - chest, side, or back. Once you choose where to wear your iPod, you can use the other two pockets for other essentials.

But I won't wear them in the rain again - they really seem to soak up the rain. They have a reflective stripe on the outside of each leg for safety. There is a small zip pocket and a small back pocket for an iPod or cell phone. They come in regular, petite and plus sizes.
One way to get around having wires snaking around your body is to wear your iPod in your hat. After all, you need to keep the sun off of your face to preserve your complexion anyway. iXoundwear makes several designs of hats, caps and visors which hold you iPod and have earbuds to reach your ears without more wires.
I learned the hard way on a marathon that sticking your cell phone in your sports bra is bad for the cell phone - it had condensation blocking the screen. Same for the iPod. Gracies Gear puts its Power Pouch on the outside of a bra, long tank, or cami. They are made of wicking fabric so there shouldn't be the build-up of moisture that I experienced.
