High tech fabrics such as Wick-Lite and CoolMax are great for wicking away sweat and drying fast, but they can also retain sweat and body odor if washed normally. Here is the solution:
  • Pre-soak garments in a solution of Arm and Hammer Super Washing Soda. You can use the pre-soak setting on your washer or do it in a separate container.
  • Wash with warm or hot water and use Arm and Hammer laundry detergent.
I was ready to toss out my favorite walking shirts until I found this solution, it really works.

Another suggestion:

  • Immediately after exercise, spray the garment underarms with Spray and Wash.
