Revlon Run/Walk for Breast Cancer

About the Events:

The Revlon Run/Walk is held in New York City and Los Angeles to benefit women's cancer charities. The event is a 5 kilometer (3 mile) course you may run or walk, plus a Health Expo. Celebrities often attend. The aim is to raise awareness and critical funds for women's cancers research, counseling and outreach programs.

Registration:

The registration fee is $25 includes a Revlon Run/Walk For Women t-shirt, medallion, and goodie bag. Late fee of $5 for on-site registration.

Donations:

Each walker may also collect further donations, but it is not required. Donations may be collected by cash, credit card, or check. Each participant can set up a personal web page on the Revlon Run/Walk site to make it easy to collect donations online. Proceeds from the Revlon Run/Walk For Women are distributed to a variety of charitable organizations leading the fight against women's cancers. These beneficiaries are selected by The Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF).

Training:

A 5K walk (3 miles) is easily accomplished by individuals in good health. You should begin 6 weeks in advance by walking 15-30 minutes each day and building up to walking for an hour on one or more days a week. If you have health problems or health concerns, please consult your doctor before beginning training.
