The Breast Cancer 3-Day Walks are expanding in 2005 and 2006. The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation sponsors the Breast Cancer 3-Day Walks. Net money raised from the walks is split 85% to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and 15% to the National Philanthropic Trust, both using the money for breast cancer research, outreach, and education.

Great Format

Walkers walk 20 miles a day for three days, camping each night in a tent city. Each walker must raise $2200 in donations to participate. The walkers are fully supported with meals, snacks, rest stops, and evening entertainment. For many it is a life-changing event.
