This game concluded May 10, 2003 with Cinnamingirl as our Sole Survivor.

In the weeks of this game, she walked 1,652,766 steps, which is around 750 miles, burning the equivalent of 24 pounds of fat.

She won Immunity only once and had 1 sick week with the flu. You have come a long way with us, a true Survivor!!!

How the Game was Played:

To keep us moving through these upcoming winter weeks, join in our fun Forum game to compete in racking up walking steps.  Post your total steps each week. Compete in the weekly Immunity Challenge to stay alive.  Then each week the Steps Survivor with the fewest steps and no Immunity will be eliminated at Tribal Council.  We will give you the opportunity to make your Final Words.

To Play

1.  Join the Forum:  The Walking Forum membership is free.  If you have not yet joined the Forum, use this link to sign up.

2.  Log into the Walking Forum and Register as a Walking Steps Survivor  Join by Dec. 14, 2002.

3.   Post Weekly Total Walking Steps Each week, post your total steps for the previous week (Sunday through Saturday) by midnight Tuesday.  Tribal Council will be held on Wednesday.

4.  Immunity Challenges Each week I shall post an Immunity Challenge trivia question.  You will be able to find the answers by searching this site.  The first Walking Steps Survivor to post the correct answer on Forum gets Immunity and will not be eliminated that week.

5. Tribal Council:  Each week the total steps for each week will be charted and one Walking Steps Survivor will be eliminated.  We will vote between the five with the fewest steps for that week.  After taking the Walk of Shame, you will have the chance to post your Final Words.

Counting Your Steps

Pedometer Method: Wear a step-counting pedometer and note the total each day.
• No Pedometer:
  - Count your steps for 1 minute. Do this a couple of times on different terrain and average them. A step is ONE LEG forward, so if you go left-right, that is 2 steps.
  - Keep track of your walking minutes each day, then multiply your walking minutes by  by your steps per minute to get total steps.  Minutes x Steps per Minute = Total Steps.
  - An average number of steps per mile is about 2000.  One lap around a standard quarter mile running track is 500 steps.
