Join the battle against diabetes - Dr. Scholl's invites you to add your miles to its Million Miles goal. To benefit the work done by the American Diabetes Association, the Dr. Scholl's® brand and the Dr. Scholl's Sports Squad are challenging Americans to walk a Million Miles to become more active and improve their health and overall well-being.

From now until the end of December, 2001, you can log onto http://www.drscholls.com  to register miles on the Million Miles tracker. Dr. Scholl's is dedicating a $50,000 donation to the American Diabetes Association in the name of everyone who participates in tracking the miles they walk to help reach the Million Miles mark.

Walking Prevents Diabetes and Helps Diabetics
An estimated 16 million Americans have diabetes, and many of them can benefit by walking, which can help them control their disease.  Research shows that you can reduce your risk of developing Type II diabetes up to 50% by walking for 30-60 minutes most days of the week.

The Dr. Scholl's brand offers a variety of foot health products that comfort, relieve, protect, soothe and pamper feet, as well as enhance and improve athletic performance.  Dr. Scholl's has a line of products geared towards helping those with diabetic foot problems.
