Top Walk: The Jordan River Parkway near Salt Lake City Utah is a paved trail that eventually will extend from north to south about 25 miles. Right now, I can leave my house, walk the completed path and return for a total of 12 miles.

This path meanders along the Jordan River complete with wild fowl, the luscious sound of the river water, other people to say HI to and no traffic! There are periodic restrooms and parking areas so people can join the trail at several different places. A wonderful getaway from the city sounds.
