Carry Lots of Water and Plenty of Stuff
I chose the Rocket as my first hydration pack. The Omega water bladder has a wide mouth and easy-grip handle, you can easily fill from a tap or fountain and even add ice cubes. The shoulder straps adjusted well, and the waist strap and sternum strap are removable. The cargo pocket is just the right size to carry everything I normally carry on a 4 hour walk, including tucking away your jacket when warmed up. It has mesh pockets inside to organize small items. There is a small gel packet holder pocket on the front strap which I use to carry a couple of dollars. Best of all, it doesn't interfere with my arm swing and stays in place on my back. There is a reflective stripe on the back for night safety. |
