Guide Review - Walk For All Seasons Audio Tapes for Walkers
Paced music keeps you moving as Maggie Spilner coaches you through a 30 or 60 minute walking workout. Each tape includes cues for warm-up and correct walking form. Maggie explains how to walk heel-to-toe and use proper posture and arm motion. The 30-minute workout ends with stretching, but you can also keep going on side 2 for a 60 minute workout including interval training. "Power Up Your Stride" uses patriotic marching music to set the pace. The music and vocals are very good, provided by James and Karen Sundquist, formerly of Medical and Sports Music Institute. "Swing Your Way to Weight-Loss" uses swing and big band music for the pace. It includes more tips for weight loss. The workouts on these tapes appropriate for beginners through intermediate walkers.
