Star Levels

Green Star - Health Walker - 40,000 Steps: Walking an average of 6,000 steps or more per day has been shown by research to reduce your risks for many health problems and may increase your healthy years of life. Aim to put 6000 or more steps on your pedometer each day to reduce your risk of heart disease, diabetes, stroke, and cancer. Most people can achieve this level by doing a dedicated walk of 30 minutes per day or adding in extra steps throughout the day. Green Star Diploma

Silver Star - Fitness Walker - 70,000 Steps: Step it up to 10,000 steps per day and you will be burning extra calories to help lose fat or keep it off, in addition to the health benefits earned at the Green Star level. Walking approximately for one hour a day will bring you to this level. Walking for 45 minutes to an hour gives your body incentive to burn fat and to build muscle. Silver Star Diploma

Gold Star - Athletic Walker - 100,000 Steps: This level is achieved by walking several longer walks each week, such as for marathon training. Gold Star Diploma
