Ingredients
1 small head of green cabbage or 1 bag of fresh shredded cabbage for cole slaw4-6 green onions - scallions - chopped
4 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
4 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
1 packet of Equal or other artificial sweetener. If you'd rather use sugar, use 1 teaspoon sugar.
1/2 teaspoon salt
Optional toppings:
Grilled chicken - for convenience, I use prepared grilled chicken strips from the grocery deli meats section.
Toasted sesame seeds
Preparation
Toss cabbage, green onions, oil, vinegar, Equal, salt and chill at least overnight.Before serving, add a sprinkling of toasted sesame seeds and you can top it with the grilled chicken strips.
