Arby's Market Fresh Asian Sesame Salad

I drove through and picked up this salad and was in for a very pleasant surprise when I reached my lunch meeting. The greens include spring-mix, iceberg and romaine lettuce, which were green and fresh. It was topped with diced grilled chicken, mandarin orange slices, red cabbage and shredded carrots. Sliced almonds came on the side, as did the Asian Sesame Dressing. There was just enough dressing to lend it a wonderful flavor. I truly enjoyed this salad.
Nutrition: 167 calories for the salad, 190 for the dressing, 81 for the almonds. Total carbs for the salad: 14 grams, 3 grams fiber, net 11 grams carbs. For the dressing, an additional 15 grams carbs. The salad has 3 grams of fat, the dressing has 14 grams. The salad has 21 grams of lean protein.

Other Arby's Salads: The Martha's Vineyard salad with apples, chicken, cranberries, cheese is not a bad choice but it has 280 calories (before dressing), 10 grams fat, 22 grams carbs (18 net). The raspberry vinaigrette dressing has a similar calorie/fat/carb grams as the Asian sesame dressing - 172/12/16.

The Santa Fe Salad packs a wallop of calories - 520, 29 grams fat, 40 grams carbs, with the dressing having twice the calories and fat as the other dressings. This is not the best choice unless you enjoy it without the dressing, and even then you will be getting more calories, fat, and carbs than the other salads WITH dressing.
