How to Walk - Cool Down

For the final 5-10 minutes of your walk, finish with an easy walking pace. This lets your body shed the heat it built up during your workout and lets your heart rate and breathing return to normal before you rest.

At the end of your walk you may want to repeat the stretches you did after your warm-up.
