Use Black Friday deals to stock up on your fitness needs. You can start early this year with some retailers.
- Roadrunner Sports, one of my favorite online shoe stores, has an offer of free shipping, available now through 1/31/13 Buy Direct (Code:CX12H001)
- Smooth Fitness: is running sales specials on treadmills and ellipticals, including $100 off all units on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. (Buy Direct)
- FootSmart and Comfortology have their first sitewide deals, featuring comfort shoes and healing foot products. From 11/21 - 11/25 you get 15% off total purchases over $75 and free shipping (Buy Direct). On Cyber Monday only, 11/26 it goes up to 20% off total purchases over $99 and free shipping (Buy Direct)
- Zappos is another of my go-to online shoe stores. Shop their why-wait-for-Black-Friday sales and their Holiday Gift Guide. (Buy Direct)
- REI: Their Winter Sale is already on, Nov. 16-26 with up to 30% off winter gear and gifts. Their Black Friday starts on Thanksgiving with 50% off the original price of all REI-brand outerwear. This includes their Ultra Light Jacket, one of my top picks for waterproof jackets. I've ordered a new pair of rain pants!
- Eastern Mountain Sports also has great outdoor gear. Their Black Friday promotion features new deals every six hours, 50% off hundreds of items, and ends early on Cyber Monday.
- New Balance has up to 50% off select shoes and apparel, plus 10% off your order and free shipping for orders over $75. I'm stocking up on my favorite lunch-time walking shoes, the 890v2
Big Box Stores:
- Dick's Sporting Goods starts their online deals at 12:01 am on Thanksgiving Day. The stores are closed on Thanksgiving but open at midnight on Black Friday and 8 am on Saturday (may vary by location). They are a good source of outdoor wear, exercise clothing, treadmills, ellipticals and other gear.
- Sports Authority: The doors open at 12 am in many locations and the first 80 people in line at each location get a Bonus Bucks Card worth from $10 to $500 - but must be used on Nov. 23, 2012 only. All shoes are buy one/get one half off all day. They have 1-day and 2-day sales on selected treadmills, elliptical trainers and other aerobic equipment.
