What is Your Fitness Resolution?

It's that magical time of year when we wake up feeling fat and out of condition. We turn those regrets into resolutions and head off into the teeth of winter to reform. What is your fitness resolution?

I need to stay in half marathon condition for a big event in March. And I need to work on my upper body strength to rebuild some arm muscles, and core strength to maintain good walking posture. I built a Get in Shape with Walking guide that can help both me and you.
Tell us about your resolution in the Comments.

I’m going to walk a thousand miles in 2010. Not all in one go, obviously, but by walking as close to every day as I can manage, and doing something like three to four miles each walk. I’ll try to keep a blog about it, too.

I think fixed goals are more motivational and easier to stick to than general intentions are.

Thanks for motivating me,
Duncan

The idea behind weight loss is simple–burn more calories than you eat. This can be accomplished by replacing a couple of sodas with water and adding 20 minutes of walking each day. Sounds simple…and it is.
