Once More to the Beach
Tuesday August 26, 2008
Take eight of your closest walking buddies and one almost complete stranger and toss them around in two vans for 31 hours, kicking one out at a time to walk for a few miles, until 127 miles later you are at the beach. That's the Portland to Coast Relay Walk. I've been doing this since 1994. We usually have a full team of 12 walkers, but this year we had only 10. I usually wonder why I do this, until I'm under a star-filled sky up in the Coast Range, walking as fast as I can, alone in the dark. Then I remember that this is the elemental walking that captured my soul years before, the walking experience I seek out each year. And my friends are pretty fun to hang out with once we reach the beach. While our Knights of Knee team's sparkly sequined safety vest is to die for, I envy some of the other teams' costumes and van art.Photos from the 2008 Portland to Coast Relay

Just “Graduated” from initial walking prog, so looked to subscribe to regular Newsletters etc.
Found unchecking all those adverts tedious but was outraged to see a political (anti immigrant) site in there - I am in UK and hope no such thing would be allowed here.
Please check, and whatever they pay to advertise, surely you could find someone different? Otherwise all good, walking and added nutrition/lifestyle/consumer etc etc advice great
