10 Things You Don't Want to See on Your Walk

Poison OakI've just told you about great ways to see new sights in your own hometown. Now we'll cover the things you don't want to see. No, I'm not talking about the neighbor in the fuzzy robe and slippers bringing in the newspaper, I'm talking about mean dogs, stinging bees, and other unpleasant surprises. Like good old "leaves of three, let it be" poison oak in the photo. Sometimes you can avoid these things, but sometimes you just have to know what to do when they appear out of the blue to try to ruin your nice walking day.

As a city walker, I would say the No. 1 think I don’t want to see is rats — dead or alive. though, I definitely prefer them dead.
