Long Winter's Night Walking

Thursday December 20, 2007
Christmas LightsWelcome to the longest nights of the year. If you plan to go out for a holiday lights stroll, be sure you are visible to traffic. I tend to wear a lot of black, and when I'm just stopping for groceries in the late afternoon dark, I forget I'm about as visible as a Ninja. When I gear up for a night walk, I wear a reflective vest and a headlamp or LED hat. If I need to light my way, rather than just being visible, I prefer the Black Diamond Nightray Headlamp. I can adjust it to spotlight at exactly the angle I desire, and it fits well over any other hat or cap or my naked head.
